UAEU’s Department of Chemistry is recruiting at Assistant or Associate Professor level in bio-cheminformatics, spanning cheminformatics, bioinformatics and machine-learning applications in biochemistry or medicinal chemistry.
Full job description
The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses, supervise research students, develop computational and experimental biochemistry curricula, collaborate on research and establish an active externally funded programme connected to biochemistry, molecular modelling, drug discovery and omics research.
Requirements & qualifications
Applicants need a PhD in Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Cheminformatics, Computational Biochemistry or a closely related field and at least two years of higher-education teaching experience. A strong Q1 publication record, omics/data-analysis experience, research grants and student-supervision experience are preferred.
