The UiPath Test Automation Developer will design, develop, execute, and maintain automated testing solutions using UiPath to support SAP S/4HANA integration, negative, regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing. This role will translate approved manual test cases, business processes, and acceptance criteria into reusable, parameterized, and maintainable automation workflows across SAP GUI, Fiori, web applications, interfaces, and related systems. Responsibilities: Developing automation components Configuring test data, variables, checkpoints, exception handling, logging, and evidence capture; Executing automated test suites; d. analyzing failures; Distinguishing application defects from automation defects; Updating scripts following SAP configuration, process, or release changes; Reporting results and defects in the Requirements Traceability Matrix. The developer will collaborate closely with functional and technical testers, government stakeholders, system integrators, and UAT teams to identify automation candidates, improve regression coverage, accelerate repeatable testing, and support release and production-readiness decisions. The role may also support UiPath Orchestrator execution and monitoring, automation documentation, demonstrations, knowledge transfer, and troubleshooting of automated test results. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, software engineering, computer engineering, data science, business information systems, or a closely related technical discipline. At least 5 years of combined experience in software quality assurance, automated testing, application development, RPA development, or test engineering. At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated workflows, test scripts, bots, or test frameworks using UiPath Studio. At least 2 years of experience using UiPath specifically for test automation, including creation of reusable test cases, libraries/components, parameterized workflows, checkpoints/assertions, exception handling, logging, and test-result evidence. At least 2 years of experience testing SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, or another large-scale SAP environment. Experience must include automating business-process tests involving SAP GUI and/or SAP Fiori. Active DoD Secret security clearance is required at time of hire, with the ability to maintain the clearance throughout employment. Demonstrated experience automating at least some of the following test types: Integration testing Regression testing Smoke testing Negative/error-path testing End-to-end business-process testing Data-validation or conversion-validation testing Desired Skills & Experience UiPath Certified Professional Automation Developer Professional certification, UiPath Test Automation Engineer Professional certification, or a current equivalent UiPath credential. The SMX salary determination process takes into account a number of factors, including but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills, education and certifications.
