The Youth Mobility Scheme permits successful applicants to live and work in the UK for up to 24 months, study, work in most jobs, travel in and out during the visa period, and undertake limited self-employment under the published conditions. Monaco applicants do not use the Hong Kong/Taiwan ballot route. Applications are made online from outside the UK, and the earliest application point is six months before the planned travel date.

Practical Job and Scholarship guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.

- Check passport validity, financial evidence, insurance, appointment and processing-time requirements early.
- Do not rely on third-party claims of guaranteed visas; final decisions are made by the responsible authority.
Verification notes
