Overview
UNAH's DICIHT currently offers 2026 financial support for article publication charges in Scopus-indexed journals through direct institutional payment or reimbursement.
Complete grant details
The official current call supports two mechanisms: direct payment of eligible article publication charges using the university's institutional credit card, and reimbursement when an eligible researcher has already paid an accepted and published article charge. The programme is intended to reduce financial barriers to publishing UNAH research and prioritizes eligible Scopus-indexed journals across published quartile categories. Reimbursement by DICIHT cheque covers eligible payments made since 1 January 2026 while funds remain available; the SEAF account-credit route follows university financial procedures and year-end guidance.
Eligibility requirements
The call is for the UNAH research community and requires the article to carry eligible UNAH affiliation and to be accepted or published in an active Scopus-indexed venue under the call's conditions. Direct payment applies to accepted articles; reimbursement applies to final or online-first published articles where the applicant made the payment. Institutional endorsement and supporting evidence are required according to applicant type.
Tips for this grant
Practical Job and Scholarship guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.
- Check eligibility, funding coverage, study/project level and every required document before investing time in the application.
- Prepare transcripts, references, language tests, proposal/motivation statement and proof documents early.
- Separate the scholarship deadline from any university/program admission deadline; they may be different.
- Treat “fully funded” as a source fact only when the official provider explicitly confirms the covered costs.
Verification notes
Verified from the official UNAH-DICIHT page, which labels the 2026 call current, and the official 2026 call materials linked there. No universal closing date, award cap or guaranteed reimbursement amount is published on the current landing page, so those fields are not invented; support remains subject to administrative and financial availability.
