Full job description
The role leads planning, implementation and monitoring of child-protection programmes in Malaysia, supports implementation of the 2026 CRC concluding observations, and builds partnerships with government, civil society, UN agencies and business partners. UNICEF highlights work on child online protection, alternative care, migrant and undocumented children, research, advocacy and national policy influence.
Requirements & qualifications
An advanced university degree in international development, psychology, sociology, international law, social science, human rights or a related field is required, together with at least eight years of relevant experience in child protection, development, human rights, research, partnerships or related areas. Fluency in English is required. UNICEF states that host-country visa issuance is required for International Professional appointments and will be facilitated.
