The assignment supports the Gulf Area Office Director during an intensive period of high-level events, partnership meetings and donor-reporting requirements from September through December 2026. Core work includes strategic positioning, speeches and briefing materials, external engagement, evidence-based donor reporting, editorial quality assurance and institutional learning. Requirements & qualifications
UNICEF requires an advanced university degree in communication, journalism, public relations, international relations, political science, marketing or a related field, or a first university degree plus two additional years of relevant professional experience. Applicants need at least eight years of progressively responsible experience in strategic communications, advocacy, executive communications or a related field, plus fluency in English. Knowledge of another UN language or a local language is an asset.
