Job no. 595563 / position #100024 is a Fixed Term Appointment in Nairobi. The role provides technical oversight for T4D interventions across the Eastern and Southern Africa region, guides solution design and procurement, leads digital strategy and quality assurance, supports ICT emergency preparedness, develops partnerships and resource mobilization, manages a portfolio of digital initiatives, strengthens capacity, and builds awareness around AI and frontier technology.
Requirements & qualifications
An advanced university degree in Information Systems, Information Management, International Development, Business Analysis, ICT Management, Innovation, Computer Science, Digital Development, Digital Transformation or a related field is required; a relevant first-level degree plus two additional years of relevant experience may substitute. At least eight years of professional ICT4D experience in a large international organization or corporation is required, including complex technology projects and strategic people leadership. Fluency in English is required.
