Full job description

The consultant will help UNICEF consolidate and harmonize nutrition-assessment and wasting-programming datasets, support the Global Report on Food Crises nutrition component and Child Nutrition Report 2027 work, and improve the evidence base for programme decision-making, reporting, visualization and future automation. The official vacancy is based in Kenya and explicitly lists the working arrangement as remote.

Requirements & qualifications

UNICEF requires a master’s degree in Nutrition, Epidemiology, Public Health, Statistics or a related field; at least eight years of nutrition experience with a strong focus on nutrition information management; proven database/data-management experience; experience with nutrition surveys and IPC Acute Malnutrition analyses; proficiency with Excel and statistical tools such as R, Stata or Python; experience contributing to the Global Report on Food Crises; and fluency in English.
