A well-known client of Domo Ventures in Dubai is looking for a Unit Manager - Maternity Ward. Calling all the Midwives with Managerial experience to apply for the role.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Midwifery; OR Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery AND Bachelor or Nursing; OR Bachelor or Nursing AND postgraduate or Masters Degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology or Maternal Nursing is a must-have.
- Master of Science in Midwifery or related Healthcare field is desirable.
Experience:
- At least 3-5 years of senior nursing experience, preferably in a private hospital.
- 5-10 years of senior nursing experience is a plus.
License:
- Hold a Valid DHA/DoH/ MoH license titled as Midwife ( For candidates working in UAE )
- Home country license titled as Midwife (For candidates applying outside of UAE )
Responsibilities
- Evaluating nurse and medical staff performance and managing daily treatment schedules.
- Enforcing health and safety regulations.
- Solving staffing issues and shortages.
- Evaluating and adjusting treatment plans based on patient condition and monitoring pregnant women. Undertaking antenatal care in hospitals.
- Ensuring the unit meets company guidelines.
- Completing admission and discharge forms.
- Delivering hands-on care and medication administration as needed.
- Communicating l issues with the director of nursing.
- Acting as a liaison between patients' families and healthcare staff.
- Managing hospital equipment inventory.
