Duties include preparing and analysing complex datasets with modern econometric methods, developing and applying microsimulation models such as MODGEN, preparing scientific publications and project reports, presenting research at international conferences and workshops, and contributing to an international interdisciplinary research team. The university asks candidates to apply online as early as possible and does not state a fixed closing date.

Applicants should have a completed university degree in economics, statistics or a related field, strong econometrics and empirical data-analysis skills, interest in empirical and social-policy research, and very good written and spoken English. Stata experience is preferred; programming, microsimulation and quantitative-modelling skills are advantageous, and German is an advantage.
