Full job description

The Faculty of Education is recruiting a Research Support Officer II or III for FESTA Pillar 1: Early Childhood Education and Care. The appointment is planned from October 2026 to October 2031, renewed annually subject to the project, for up to 10 hours per week. The call states EUR 14.58 per hour at RSO II and EUR 17.64 per hour at RSO III. The role supports mixed-methods research, analysis, dissemination and links between research, policy and professional practice.

Requirements & qualifications

Applicants should hold either a PhD or a relevant postgraduate qualification such as MA, MTL or MEd in Education or a related field. Knowledge of early childhood education and care, workforce professionalisation and mixed-methods research is required or advantageous as specified in the call. The appointee must reside in Malta.
