CyprusAid and the University of Nicosia offer fully funded Spring 2027 scholarships for eligible nationals of ten African countries to pursue approved undergraduate, master’s or doctoral study in Cyprus. Applications close 6 November 2026.

Eligible undergraduate applicants may receive scholarships for English-taught on-campus bachelor’s programmes at the University of Nicosia, excluding Medical School programmes. Eligible postgraduate routes include the MBA, MA in International Relations and Eastern Mediterranean Studies, MA in Digital Media and Communications, and the PhD in International Relations. The official scheme covers full tuition plus accommodation, a monthly sponsorship allowance, medical examinations, visa or residence-permit fees, insurance and other personal or administrative expenses stated by the university.

Applicants must hold nationality from Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia, Botswana, Mauritius, Ghana, Senegal, Tanzania or Madagascar, meet University of Nicosia admission requirements for the selected programme, meet the relevant English-language requirements and submit all documents required for admission and scholarship evaluation.
