Full job description
The Laboratory Manager oversees multiple research laboratories, staff, budgets, equipment, safety and quality systems, inventories and accreditation work, while helping integrate the laboratories into University and national research-and-development priorities.
Requirements & qualifications
A Master's degree or PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Environmental Science or a related field with at least five years of relevant laboratory-management experience is accepted; the announcement also allows a bachelor's degree with seven years of experience. Molecular-biology/Sanger sequencing experience and laboratory leadership are among the stated skills.
