UOWD teaches in English and normally uses an 18-credit-point, three-subject trimester load, with Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer teaching periods. For Spring 2027 exchange applications in the USA/Canada/UAE/Asia regional group, UOW publishes January 23, 2027 as the application deadline. Applicants submit one online exchange application, rank three host-university preferences from the same regional group, provide a 500-word motivation statement, explain how they plan to finance the exchange, submit a study-plan proposal and name two UOW academic referees. Eligibility requirements
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a UOW degree and in good academic standing, with a minimum credit average of 65% and no UOW subjects below a Pass, subject to published exceptions. Undergraduate students normally must complete the equivalent of one full-time year, 48 credit points, before going on exchange.
