Pompeu Fabra University's Centre for Aesthetics, Religion and Contemporary Culture and the Haas Library Association offer one four-month fellowship in Barcelona during 2027. Projects may be scholarly, artistic or practice-based and must make specific use of the Haas Library collection. The stipend is €8,600, travel expenses are covered up to €1,000, and selected projects that need unavailable materials or technical infrastructure may request a bench budget up to €2,000, subject to review. The fellow is affiliated with UPF as a visiting researcher. Eligibility requirements
Open to postdoctoral researchers, artists and art-researchers from any discipline. Strong proposals from predoctoral researchers in the later stages of a PhD may also be considered when Haas Library resources are crucial to completing the thesis. There is no country-of-origin restriction, and applications from outside Spain are prioritized. The project should preferably not already have other funding and cannot receive economic support from another institution for the same period.
