Examination Notice 01/2027-GEOL covers 111 tentative vacancies in the Geological Survey of India under the Ministry of Mines and 16 in the Central Ground Water Board under the Ministry of Jal Shakti. The notified posts include Geologist, Geophysicist, Chemist, Assistant Geologist, Assistant Geophysicist, Assistant Chemist, Scientist B Hydrogeology/Chemical/Geophysics and Assistant Hydrogeologist roles. Selection proceeds through the preliminary examination, main examination and personality test. The preliminary examination is scheduled for 10 January 2027.
