Full Job Description

About Atria:

The Atria Health Institute is a membership-based primary and specialty health care practice with a focus on prevention and longevity. We bring together a multidisciplinary team of renowned physicians to provide proactive, preventive, and precision-based care for Atria members and their families. All care, including primary care, advanced screening and diagnostics, urgent care, specialty care, 24/7 home visits, and imaging is included in members’ annual fee.

Our mission is to make healthspan and lifespan equal for all by translating science into medicine in real-time, all while bringing humanity back into health care. Delivering such robust, personalized, and preventive health care is complex and requires a team-wide dedication to excellence.

We have state-of-the-art facilities with imaging and diagnostics on-site in New York City, Palm Beach, and Los Angeles, with home services hubs in Miami, Greenwich/Westchester, and the Hamptons in summer. Additional locations are forthcoming in the Bay Area, Miami, and in downtown Manhattan. At each of our Institutes, we deliver personalized preventive medicine grounded in up-to-the-minute science — all in serene environments designed for trust and comfort.

About this role:

At Atria, the member experience extends from onboarding and the exam room to every surface a member touches — the mobile app, the web portal, notifications, and the language a physician’s care team uses to schedule an appointment or explain a result. This role is responsible for the words, content systems, and content patterns that make those experiences clear, consistent, and on-brand.

You'll sit at the intersection of content and product, working to ensure that a member's experience of their own health data feels coherent, understandable, and actionable.

You will be responsible for maintaining content systems, voice frameworks, and judgment calls that keep our language consistent as Atria's product and specialty offerings grow while also supporting the broader needs of the content team, including macros, email templates, clinical release/consent forms, and other related materials.

What you'll do

  • Develop Atria's product voice. In a manner consistent with Atria’s existing brand voice, you will be responsible for evolving how Atria sounds across the app, portal, emails, notifications, and every digital surface a member touches.
  • Bring a content perspective to product decisions. Participate in design reviews and collaborate closely with product and design as flows take shape. Raise opportunities for structure, sequencing, or language to make it easier for members to understand what they need to know or do.
  • Evolve and maintain the content system. Adapt our brand voice for guidelines, voice frameworks, and reusable content that help us scale the information we can provide and contextualize. Our content library will include descriptions of test results, detailed lifestyle guidance, and context for wearables integration.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally. Work with content, product, design, engineering, legal, and ops to keep what the product says aligned with what Atria says everywhere else, including in our sales emails, registration, and onboarding process. Route anything requiring clinical judgment, PHI, legal, or compliance review to the right owner rather than resolving it unilaterally.
  • Support the content team. You will work on product-adjacent content including email templates, consent forms, specialty onboarding forms, radiology questionnaires, SEO/AEO support for our websites, and other related materials.
  • Understand how and when to use AI. AI is increasingly a part of how health data is recorded, interpreted, and communicated to members. You understand how large language models generate text, where they introduce inaccuracies or flatten nuance in health content, and how to correct for that deliberately — whether that means writing prompts, editing outputs, or building guardrails into the content system. You are responsible for making sure AI-assisted copy always sounds like Atria and still earns member trust.
  • Coordinate across specialties. Partner with primary care physicians, physician assistants, nurses, radiology technicians, care coordinators, and in-house specialists across cardiology, neurology, women's health, endocrinology, integrative health, GI, pulmonology, sleep, nutrition, dermatology, and more to make sure in-product language reflects clinical accuracy without becoming overly clinical in tone.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of content design or UX writing experience on consumer-facing digital products, with a portfolio showing systems ownership — including shipped copy as well as the guidelines and patterns behind it.
  • A track record of contributing to or maintaining content systems at scale: voice frameworks, pattern libraries, or documentation that other people adopt and use.
  • Experience in health care, health technology is preferred, or another regulated, high-stakes industry, where precision and plain language matter and where getting either wrong has real-world and sometimes regulatory consequences.
  • Working knowledge of how LLMs generate and can distort language, and hands-on experience using AI tools in a content workflow without letting them erode voice or exactness.
  • Comfort holding a single brand voice across very different moments — a lab result, an onboarding screen, a scheduling reminder.
  • Judgment about what needs clinician, legal, or compliance review, and the discipline to route it there.

Benefits

At Atria, we are proud to offer every member of the Atria team:

  • Excellent health and wellness benefits, fully covered by Atria, effective date of hire
  • OneMedical membership for employees & dependents, giving access to 24/7 virtual care
  • Fertility & family planning
  • Company-covered preventive health screenings through partner hospitals (calcium score)
  • Fitness Perks, including Wellhub +
  • 401k contributions and 4% match starting after 6 months
  • Flexible Time Off
  • Continuing medical education (CME) and CEU support for professional licensure
