A bilateral Uzbekistan–Belarus call supports two-year fundamental research projects across natural sciences, engineering, medicine, agriculture, social sciences and humanities.

Projects may run for up to two years. The call covers mathematics, physics and mechanics, engineering, earth sciences, chemistry, medicine, agriculture, biology and biotechnology, economics, philology and social sciences, pedagogy and psychology. Each project may receive funding up to 6,000 times Uzbekistan's base calculation unit. The project leader submits electronically through the state scientific programmes platform and the executing organization must approve the submission.
Eligibility requirements
Eligible applicants are scientific-activity entities with the capacity to conduct research and for which scientific activity is a core activity. The scientific team's average age must not exceed 45. A foreign co-leader from a higher-education or research organization who has significant results in the project field and a Scopus/Web of Science h-index of at least 5 must be involved. The foreign partner's project application must be uploaded. A project leader may submit only one project.
