Full job description
We're looking for an experienced Validation and Verification Team Leader to join our organization in Guadalajara, Mexico. In this role, you will lead a team of validation and verification professionals, overseeing the execution of comprehensive testing protocols and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will be responsible for driving quality assurance initiatives, managing team performance, and implementing process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and product reliability.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of validation and verification specialists, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Oversee the planning, execution, and documentation of validation and verification activities across multiple projects
- Analyze test results and quality data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process optimization
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies throughout all validation activities
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and budget for validation and verification initiatives
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on validation status, findings, and recommendations to senior management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and regulatory affairs to align validation strategies
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for validation and verification processes
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential quality issues
- Provide technical guidance and training to team members on validation methodologies and tools
- Monitor team performance metrics and conduct regular performance reviews to drive accountability and professional growth
- Develop new business opportunities and strengthen existing ones.
Qualifications and requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience with proven expertise in validation and verification roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity
- Mandatory experience in Brake System products
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards (ISO, ASPICE, etc)
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and generate actionable insights
- Excellent project management skills with experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives
- Proficiency with validation software tools and quality management systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams
- Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organizational and time management abilities
- Experience in process improvement and continuous quality enhancement initiatives
- Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and collaborate across departments
- Preferred: Certification in quality assurance, validation, or related field (e.g., ISTQB)
- Preferred: Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and methodologies
