About The Role
You will be part of the Mobileye Autonomous Vehicle project, which delivers high-quality AV (Autonomous Vehicle) products to various vehicle manufacturers. We are protecting the complex system as a whole and are the main gate to ensure the safety of our autonomous driving products. As a System Validation Engineer, you will lead and own features and domains from understanding system requirements through defining and executing the validation plan. You will interact with team members and most of Mobileye's departments to develop state-of-the-art automation suites based on a thorough understanding of product behavior.
What Will Your Job Look Like?
Gain a deep, working understanding of the product, including how the hardware is built, configured, and used.
Write test plans in accordance with system requirements to ensure high-quality products.
Execute both manual tests and built-in automated test sets.
Thrive in a multi-tasked, dynamic, and diversified environment.
Develop and write automation scripts.
Record, investigate, and analyze defects thoroughly.
Collaborate closely with relevant stakeholders and subject matter experts.
All You Need Is:

BSc in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent engineering degree with substantial hardware and systems depth.

4+ years of experience as a validation engineer (test planning, execution, traceability, and release-quality judgment).

4+ years of Python for automation, tooling, and data analysis (not only ad-hoc scripts): structured code, reusable modules, and integration with CI or test frameworks where applicable.

Solid software engineering practices with Git: branching workflows, code review, meaningful commits, and collaboration in a shared codebase.

Proven technical, systems-oriented validation mindset and ownership: understanding of OS/process basics, environments and dependencies, logs and diagnostics, configuration, networking fundamentals, and performance/stability considerations as they affect validation.

Hands-on experience validating or integrating hardware–software systems, such as embedded products, electronics, sensors, boards, or vehicle and industrial systems.

Proven ability to write clear, concise, and well-structured technical documents (test plans, reports, runbooks, and conclusions backed by evidence).

Fluent in English and Hebrew.
