Core Development is a global team of technologists who architect, build and maintain our world-class trading platform. From optimizing our core trading engine to building custom hardware, we leverage software & hardware engineering, data science and research, to deliver the infrastructure and tools that drive our trading and business needs. We are looking for an ASIC Verification Engineer who combines strong technical skills with pragmatic problem-solving, curiosity, and a drive to deliver on complex projects. Verification is integral to our design process. You’ll work across architecture, RTL design, software, implementation, and infrastructure, helping shape how we build and validate our platforms. Working closely with designers and trading teams, you’ll translate demanding real-world requirements into robust, thoroughly verified designs. What You'll Do: Own verification environments from planning through sign-off. Translate architectural and system requirements into verification strategies, test plans, and measurable completion criteria for complex projects Build scalable verification environments. Develop reusable testbenches, reference models, stimulus, scoreboards and other verification components Drive verification closure. Use coverage, assertions, regression results, assess risk and build confidence in our designs Solve challenging hardware and software problems. Collaborate across disciplines to isolate root causes, resolve spec ambiguities, and drive issues to closure Make sound engineering trade-offs. Balance verification depth, development effort, and delivery timelines while delivering right first-time silicon Improve productivity. Develop automation, CI, regression infrastructure, and tooling that make verification faster, more reliable, and lower maintenance Contribute beyond verification. Bring a verification perspective to architecture and design reviews Skills You’ll Need: At least 3 years of design verification experience, including work on complex ASIC/SoC projects Experience creating and executing verification plans, building verification environments, and driving metric-based sign-off Strong programming and HDL development skills, including SystemVerilog and Python, with proficiency in C/C++ A solid understanding of digital design principles and the ability to reason about hardware behavior, corner cases, and trade-offs Strong debugging skills across hardware and software, with a systematic approach to diagnosing complex failures The ability to turn high-level or evolving requirements into clear, testable specifications A collaborative and reliable approach, clear communication, accountability for your deliverables and ability to give and take constructive criticism A degree in electrical or electronic engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or a related discipline Bonus Points: Experience with UVM, cocotb, or assertion-based verification Experience with formal verification tools and techniques Experience developing front-end ASIC tooling, verification infrastructure, or engineering workflows.
