We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our well-established and supportive team. This well-established branch of Bath Vet Group is a friendly two-vet surgery with operating, imaging and dentistry facilities on site. You'll be supported by colleagues at our Rosemary Lodge Hospital, just seven miles away in Bath, where patients can be hospitalised and our out-of-hours care is provided by Vets Now. The successful candidate will be confident working occasional sole charge at our Keynsham branch.

How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.
You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.
Working Pattern
- Four 9.5-hour days per week, 8:30am-6:30pm
- Tuesday is a fixed day off
- 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, 9:00am-1:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied first-opinion caseload, including routine consultations and surgery
- Refer and collaborate on cases with colleagues at Rosemary Lodge Hospital
- Provide occasional sole-charge cover at the Keynsham branch

- A Veterinary degree and registration (or eligibility to register) with the RCVS
- Experience working in clinical practice with growing confidence in routine medical and surgical cases
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues
