Vice President | Research, Insight & Consulting

Our partner is looking for a Vice President | Research, Insight & Consulting based in United States. This senior leadership role combines market research expertise, strategic consulting, client leadership, and commercial growth across the Americas. You will lead high-impact quantitative and mixed-methods research programs that help senior clients address complex strategic questions. The role carries ownership of an established client portfolio, with responsibility for strengthening relationships and identifying opportunities for sustainable revenue growth. You will engage directly with senior and C-suite stakeholders, leading pitches, advising clients, and shaping research strategies that generate actionable insights. As a people leader, you will develop a high-performing team through clear expectations, performance management, coaching, and career progression. A strong technology and AI mindset is central to the role, with an emphasis on modernizing how research is designed, delivered, and translated into insight. You’ll collaborate across regions as part of a global team while helping shape the broader growth strategy and future direction of the Americas practice.

Lead the delivery of sophisticated market research and consulting programs using quantitative and mixed-methodologies to address strategic client questions. Own and grow an established portfolio of client accounts, acting as a trusted strategic advisor while identifying opportunities for additional services and sustainable revenue growth. Develop and manage a commercial pipeline, leading high-level pitches and presentations for senior and C-suite audiences. Contribute to the broader commercial and growth strategy for the Americas, identifying opportunities to expand client relationships and strengthen market presence. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, translating business challenges into effective research and consulting solutions. Lead, manage, and develop a high-performing team by setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback, managing performance, and supporting career progression. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, client focus, and continuous improvement across the team. Champion technology and AI-enabled approaches that improve the speed, quality, and effectiveness of research and insight generation. Encourage the adoption of modern research tools and methodologies while helping clients and internal teams move beyond traditional approaches. Delegate effectively to senior and mid-level team members while maintaining accountability for commercial performance, delivery quality, and team outcomes. Collaborate with regional and global leaders to share best practices and support international client relationships connected to Americas accounts. Help shape the future direction of the research and consulting team through strategic initiatives, proposals, business development, and operational improvements. Requirements 8+ years of experience in market research, consumer insights, consulting, or a closely related field. Demonstrated success managing and growing client revenue, with strong commercial acumen and experience developing new business opportunities. Extensive experience delivering quantitative and mixed-methods research programs and translating findings into compelling strategic recommendations. Proven leadership experience managing, developing, and motivating high-performing teams, including performance management and career progression. Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills, with confidence operating as a strategic advisor to senior and C-suite audiences. Excellent communication, presentation, storytelling, and influencing abilities, with the capacity to make complex research findings clear and commercially relevant. Genuine technology-first mindset, with enthusiasm for applying emerging technologies and AI-enabled approaches to improve research and insight generation. Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment while effectively delegating responsibilities and maintaining accountability for outcomes. Strong commercial judgment and the ability to balance client needs, delivery quality, team performance, and revenue objectives. Collaborative approach and willingness to work across regions, sharing best practices and supporting global client relationships. Previous experience in financial services research is advantageous but not required. Candidates must be able to work East Coast hours from anywhere in the United States or work in a hybrid capacity from a New York office. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
