Video Recording

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Video Recording contributor based in India. This opportunity is designed for people who can naturally capture their everyday activities from a first-person perspective. You will use a loaned head-mounted camera to record authentic moments such as cooking, commuting, shopping, cleaning, hobbies, and other routine activities. The footage will support an upcoming AI data collection project focused on real-world video and human activity. You will follow clear recording and submission guidelines while producing continuous clips of approximately 10 minutes. No prior experience with data collection or wearable cameras is required, making this accessible to contributors who are comfortable with the format. This is an expression-of-interest opportunity, with selected contributors contacted if a suitable project becomes available.

Wear the provided head-mounted camera and record normal daily activities from a first-person perspective. Capture natural and authentic footage rather than staged or scripted activities. Produce continuous video clips of approximately 10 minutes each. Follow all recording, quality, and submission guidelines provided for the project. Complete a 10–15 minute screening video using a personal smartphone before receiving the recording equipment. Ensure that no minors appear in recorded footage. Obtain appropriate consent from other people who may appear in recordings. Return or hand off the loaned equipment at the end of the participation period. Remain available for the expected collection period of approximately three weeks if selected. Requirements: Based in India. 18 years of age or older. Comfortable wearing a head-mounted camera while carrying out everyday activities. Own a smartphone capable of recording and submitting a 10–15 minute screening video. Have regular activities and environments that can realistically and safely be recorded. Comfortable following detailed recording and submission instructions. Able to protect the privacy of others by ensuring minors do not appear in footage and obtaining consent from other individuals who may be recorded. Reliable and attentive to recording requirements and quality standards. Previous experience with data collection, annotation, wearable cameras, or action cameras is beneficial but not required. Benefits: Payment of $3 USD / approximately ₹287.86 per accepted hour of footage. Payment is based on accepted footage; rejected or incomplete footage is not paid.
