The award is 2–15 Lithuanian basic social benefits (BSI); the university states the current BSI is €74. Autumn-semester applications are accepted through 25 October via the VU information system.

Vilnius University students of all study cycles, integrated and professional studies may apply when their individual achievements contribute to society, address social problems, advance university strategic goals or promote the university's name.
