Vietnam National University, Hanoi is accepting applications for RND to Startup 2026, a nationwide innovation and entrepreneurship competition that develops research, technology and startup ideas through bootcamps, mentoring, pitching and incubation pathways.

The competition has Idea and Project tracks and covers AI and digital transformation, education, health, agriculture, sustainability, engineering and robotics, culture and other fields. Applications run through 30 September 2026, followed by selection to Top 50, workshops, later rounds and a December Demo Day. Published prizes include cash, trophies or certificates depending on placement, VISI incubation or pre-incubation support, mentoring and connections to companies and investors. The organiser states that monetary prize values will be announced later, so no amount is invented here.
Eligibility requirements
Open nationwide to high-school students, university students, postgraduate students, doctoral candidates and Vietnamese students studying abroad. Teams may have up to five members. One participant may enter at most two ideas but may lead only one project.
