Own commercial contracting globally. Set the strategy for how Match Group drafts, negotiates, and manages procurement, vendor, and SaaS/technology agreements, balancing legal risk with the speed the business needs. Own the Legal Operations function. Lead the Legal Operations team responsible for our contract lifecycle management, billing, and legal-tech tooling strategy and execution, including deciding how Legal Ops continues to uplevel the global Legal Team operation, putting AI and automation at the center of that strategy. Reimagine commercial contracting with AI in the loop. Actively rethink how contracting work gets done and execute against that strategy. Leverage the ownership of Legal Operations and partnership from Legal AI Enablement to identify where AI can accelerate and automate stages of review, drafting, negotiation support, and risk triage, and championing adoption across the team. Support central functions. Extend commercial contracting support beyond the brands to central teams including procurement, workplace experience, finance, real estate, and operations. Build scalable processes. Develop playbooks, templates, and governance that improve the speed, consistency, and clarity of commercial contracting support across every brand. Then, leverage AI and automated processes to scale against these knowledge bases and templates. Manage risk and escalation. Identify and escalate legal and business risk in vendor and procurement relationships, exercising judgment on when broader legal or business stakeholder alignment is warranted. Partner across the business. Serve as a senior point of contact for procurement, finance, and vendor management, building trusted relationships with stakeholders across Match Group.

You have 15+ years of experience in commercial contracting, procurement, or vendor management functions, including significant negotiation and people-management experience. You have substantial experience managing or leading a Legal Operations function, ideally for a global Legal Team. You understand the Legal Ops industry, common practices, and where Legal Ops trends are heading and you are excited to uplevel a Legal Ops team, especially by levearing AI and increased automation. You are a strong leader, communicator, and collaborator. You are invested in growing and developing people, including that you have experience leading and mentoring attorneys and building high performing teams. You are a strategic, solutions-oriented thinker who can assess risk clearly and communicate in the context of business goals. You are intellectually curious, creative, and have a drive to win for the business and for your team. You have in-house experience at a technology company, and thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment or multi-brand or multi-business-unit organization and are energized by working across a complex global organization. You have deep experience negotiating and structuring SaaS, technology licensing, procurement, and other vendor agreements at scale. You are genuinely AI-forward: you use AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, contract AI platforms) in your own work today, and you're energized by reimagining how contracting gets done with AI in the loop. You have a track record of building or scaling a function and leading through change: standing up teams, templates, playbooks, and processes in a fast-moving environment. You bring strong business judgment and executive presence, and collaborate easily with procurement, finance, real estate, and workplace teams. J.D. from an accredited institution and an active law license (in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction) required. You're comfortable with real autonomy — this is a newly consolidated function, and you'll help define how it operates.

The position will be based in one of our Match Group offices in the U.S. (San Francisco, Palo Alto, Los Angeles, Dallas or New York City) and report to our SVP of Legal. You will lead a team of 4 to 6 legal professionals. We operate as one team, no ego, and titles stay at the door.
