Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP Sales (Global) based in the United States. This is a senior commercial leadership opportunity focused on building a global sales-led growth engine from an established foundation. You’ll own sales strategy, execution, revenue growth, market expansion, and the development of a high-performing enterprise organization. The role combines strategic planning with hands-on involvement in major customer opportunities and complex enterprise deals. You’ll define target markets, sharpen the ideal customer profile, shape commercial strategy, and build scalable sales operations. You’ll lead teams across sales and enterprise customer success while working closely with Product, Marketing, Finance, and executive leadership. The position offers significant scope to turn existing product adoption and customer traction into a predictable international revenue engine. This is a hybrid global leadership role, with New York preferred and Paris also available, and regular international travel expected.
Own the global sales-led revenue strategy, targets, execution, and overall commercial performance. Define and continuously refine the ideal customer profile, segmentation, market priorities, and go-to-market strategy. Expand the enterprise sales motion into additional high-potential segments, including retailers, e-commerce brands, marketplaces, and other strategic customer categories. Partner on pricing, packaging, and commercial strategy as the business enters new markets and customer segments. Build predictable pipeline coverage and establish a scalable international sales motion. Drive enterprise expansion and net revenue retention by partnering closely with the Customer Success organization and treating expansion as a core revenue engine. Establish a disciplined sales operating system covering qualification, pipeline management, forecasting, CRM hygiene, deal reviews, and performance management. Introduce and reinforce a robust qualification methodology such as MEDDPICC or an equivalent framework. Improve deal sizes, sales-cycle efficiency, team productivity, and overall sales leverage through data, technology, AI, and automation. Provide accurate, actionable revenue forecasts and commercial insights to executive leadership. Lead the existing Sales and enterprise Customer Success organization across New York and Paris. Evaluate organizational capabilities, develop high-performing team members, make necessary performance decisions, and recruit exceptional talent. Build an organization around the future sales motion and evolving business needs rather than simply maintaining the existing structure. Develop a culture centered on ambition, accountability, customer focus, collaboration, and high-quality execution. Personally engage in major strategic opportunities, build senior customer relationships, and help teams develop compelling business cases and value propositions. Represent the organization with customers, strategic partners, and the broader market. Establish strong operating relationships with Product, Marketing, Finance, and other cross-functional teams. Translate customer and market insights into actionable product and commercial feedback. Partner with Product on enterprise strategy and help align customer needs, commercial opportunities, and company priorities. Requirements: Demonstrated experience scaling a B2B sales-led organization through approximately the $5M to $50M+ revenue stage , with measurable evidence of impact. Experience personally owning significant revenue responsibility, ideally $10M+ . Proven experience operating internationally and leading teams across multiple markets and cultures. Strong understanding of complex mid-market and enterprise sales involving multiple stakeholders, extended sales cycles, and large-value opportunities. Experience building or significantly improving sales operating systems, including pipeline management, qualification, forecasting, sales methodologies, and performance management. Demonstrated experience entering new segments, markets, or regions and making strategic decisions about where and how to compete. Strong commercial judgment and the ability to translate market opportunities into focused go-to-market priorities. Hands-on leadership style with a willingness to personally engage in important customer opportunities and strategic deals. Strong people leadership skills, including the ability to coach leaders, develop high-performing teams, recruit exceptional talent, and address performance issues directly. Data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to act effectively even when complete information is unavailable. Genuine interest in AI and experience identifying opportunities to use technology and automation to improve sales productivity and leverage. Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management abilities. A combination of ambition, humility, curiosity, accountability, and customer focus. Ability to travel regularly between international offices and customer locations. Benefits: Competitive executive-level compensation package. Hybrid working environment with New York as the preferred U.S. location. Opportunity to work from the Paris office for candidates based there. Global leadership scope with exposure to multiple markets, customer segments, and international teams. Significant ownership over sales strategy, revenue growth, organization design, and go-to-market execution. Close collaboration with executive leadership and cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, and Finance. Opportunity to shape the next stage of an established sales-led growth organization. Flexible working hours designed to support autonomy and effective collaboration. Hybrid work environment built around trust and flexibility. Extended parental leave. Inclusive workplace committed to valuing diverse experiences and backgrounds. Regular international travel opportunities and direct engagement with strategic customers and partners.
