Full job description

Job 595232 / position #00137858 is a fixed-term National Officer role covering WASH team leadership, programme planning, fundraising, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, climate-resilient WASH, humanitarian preparedness and response, partnerships, innovation and knowledge management. UNICEF states the role supports equitable, climate-resilient and sustainable WASH services across Angola.

Requirements & qualifications

Minimum requirements include an advanced university degree in a relevant field such as public health, social or behavioural science, engineering, climate change, environmental or sanitary engineering, environmental health or international development; at least five years of relevant WASH experience in developing-country programmes; demonstrated people-supervision experience; one year of deployment in a developing country; at least one three-month humanitarian deployment; and fluency in English and Portuguese. This is a National Officer post, and UNICEF states it does not facilitate visa or work authorization for National Officer and General Service categories.
