The American University of Armenia is recruiting a full-time William Frazer Endowed Named Professor at Associate Professor or Professor rank for a distinguished scholar in science and engineering, broadly construed, including interdisciplinary research.
Full job description
The appointee will lead externally funded research programmes, sustain a high-impact research agenda, pursue major grants and sponsored projects, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, build research capacity and contribute to scholarly and outreach activities. The appointment is renewable for three or five years; teaching responsibilities are aligned with the appointment and college norms.
Requirements & qualifications
Applicants need a PhD in a relevant discipline, an internationally recognized record of scholarly excellence and intellectual leadership, demonstrated success securing and stewarding externally funded research, capacity to lead a research group and pursue independent scholarship, and commitment to transdisciplinary collaboration. The successful candidate must reside in Armenia.
