Overview
The American University in Dubai’s William Jefferson Clinton Scholarship supports eligible U.S. undergraduates with a full tuition waiver for one semester and shared on-campus housing.
Complete scholarship details
Recipients study as visiting students at AUD and must carry 12–16 credit hours during the semester. Board, books, transportation and extracurricular activities remain the student’s responsibility. AUD’s current official page lists recurring application deadlines of April 15 for Fall and October 15 for Spring; because the page does not attach a year to that recurring date, this record leaves the machine deadline null and directs applicants to confirm the active cycle in the official portal.
Eligibility requirements
Applicants must be U.S. citizens enrolled full time in an undergraduate degree at an accredited four-year U.S. college or university. The current page expects exemplary academic achievement, a GPA of 3.0 or equivalent in the submitted transcript, and at least one full year of study completed or in progress. Preference is given to applicants seeking first-time exposure to Middle Eastern and Islamic cultures.
Tips for this scholarship
Practical Job and Scholarship guidance. These tips do not replace official rules or create new eligibility requirements.
- Check eligibility, funding coverage, study/project level and every required document before investing time in the application.
- Prepare transcripts, references, language tests, proposal/motivation statement and proof documents early.
- Separate the scholarship deadline from any university/program admission deadline; they may be different.
- Treat “fully funded” as a source fact only when the official provider explicitly confirms the covered costs.
Verification notes
Verified on AUD’s current scholarship detail and application pages. Official recurring deadline is Spring: October 15, but no cycle year is attached on the detail page, so deadline is null rather than assigning an unsupported year.
Job and Scholarship is the discovery and verification layer. Confirm eligibility, dates, salary/funding and application instructions on the original source before submitting anything.
