Collaborate with EE to translate schematics into physical harness designs
Ensure proper bend radius, shielding, separation, and routing best practices in line with EWIS/USCAR standards
Support BOM creation and part selection for harness and connector components
Coordinate with suppliers and contract manufacturers for DFM feedback
Update models and drawings based on prototype learnings and MFG feedback
Maintain revision control and proper documentation in PLM systems
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in wire harness or electrical hardware design
Strong experience in 3D CAD (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar)
Experience creating both 2D and 3D harness documentation
Solid understanding of harness routing constraints and electrical integration
Experience working with contract manufacturers and suppliers
Comfortable in a startup environment with fast iteration cycles
Bonus Qualifications:
Experience with robotics or complex electromechanical systems
EVT/DVT build support experience
Familiarity with PLM systems (e.g., Enovia)
Experience supporting manufacturing floor issues
The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $125,000 - $225,000 annually.
The pay offered for this position may vary based on several individual factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
