Workday Integration - Finance

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Workday Integration - Finance based in India. This is a hands-on Workday Integration consulting role focused on designing and delivering finance-related integrations. You will analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable solutions connecting Workday Financials with external systems. The position covers the full integration lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support. You will work closely with clients, finance and HR stakeholders, technical teams, and business users in a collaborative consulting environment. The role provides exposure to complex Workday projects, global clients, and diverse business processes. It is well suited to an integration specialist who enjoys solving technical challenges while maintaining strong client relationships and delivery standards.

Analyze business and integration requirements and translate them into effective, scalable Workday integration solutions. Design, develop, configure, test, deploy, and maintain Workday integrations based on client and business requirements. Deliver finance-focused integrations supporting processes such as suppliers, customers, accounting, expenses, payments, banking, and other Workday Financials areas. Develop and maintain integrations using EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Web Services, and other relevant Workday integration technologies. Work with client project teams, finance and HR stakeholders, technical teams, and business users to gather requirements and understand existing processes and data flows. Manage integration testing, troubleshooting, error handling, deployment, and post-production support activities. Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement appropriate fixes and optimization opportunities. Ensure the integrity, security, accuracy, and reliability of data exchanged between Workday and third-party systems. Participate in integration architecture and design discussions, contributing to maintainable and scalable solution approaches. Review existing integrations and recommend improvements to performance, reliability, and maintainability. Manage integration deliverables and timelines in a client-facing consulting environment, communicating progress and expectations effectively. Stay current with Workday integration technologies, product capabilities, and evolving best practices. Requirements 2–5 years of hands-on experience in Workday Integration development, with relevant experience specifically in Finance or Workday Financials integrations. Active Workday Integration certification is mandatory. Demonstrated experience with EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, Web Services, and related integration technologies. Practical experience integrating finance-related business processes, including suppliers, customers, financial accounting, expenses, payments, banking, or similar Workday Financials functions. Experience delivering at least one end-to-end Workday implementation, preferably with significant Finance integration exposure. Hands-on experience across integration development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and post-production support. Strong understanding of Web Services and integration solution design principles. Knowledge of XML and JSON data exchange formats. Experience with XSLT and data transformation is preferred. Good knowledge of Workday Reports, Advanced Reports, and BIRT, particularly their use within integrations. Experience connecting Workday with third-party systems and external applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with clients, project teams, and internal stakeholders. Comfortable managing multiple priorities and delivering work within agreed timelines. Adaptable and willing to learn new Workday technologies, features, and capabilities.
