Workday Integration Lead

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Workday Integration Lead based in United States. As a Workday Integration Lead, you will lead the integration workstream for a major ERP transformation from PeopleSoft to Workday. You will own integration activities across discovery, planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and issue resolution. Acting as a key client-facing technical leader, you will guide integration developers while remaining hands-on with solution design and troubleshooting. You will translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and reliable Workday integrations. The role requires close collaboration with functional teams, client stakeholders, third-party vendors, and project leadership. It offers the opportunity to shape integration strategy and delivery within complex education, healthcare, nonprofit, and government environments.

Lead the integration workstream throughout the Workday implementation lifecycle, from discovery and planning through deployment and post-delivery issue resolution. Serve as the primary client-facing contact for integration priorities, risks, dependencies, scope, and delivery status. Provide technical leadership and direction to integration developers while contributing hands-on to integration design, development, testing, and troubleshooting. Facilitate client discovery and integration design sessions and translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions. Oversee integration deliverables to ensure they meet project timelines, quality standards, security requirements, and established technical practices. Manage integration scope and client expectations throughout the implementation. Collaborate with client stakeholders, functional leads, technical teams, vendors, and system integration partners to achieve shared project objectives. Identify, manage, and escalate integration risks and issues while developing alternative technical or functional approaches when required. Review integration architectures, designs, and deliverables for consistency, quality, security, and alignment with project standards. Identify opportunities to improve integration processes, methodologies, and reusable solutions based on project experience. Requirements: 8+ years of integration consulting or implementation experience, including recent experience as an Integration Lead or in a comparable role. Demonstrated experience leading the integration workstream of a Workday implementation. Hands-on expertise with Workday integration technologies, including EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and Cloud Connect. Experience leading integration developers and providing clear technical direction. Strong project management capabilities, including managing scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, deliverables, and client expectations. Strong client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to facilitate discovery sessions, explain technical concepts clearly, and build trusted stakeholder relationships. Strong ownership and follow-through, with a consistent ability to deliver high-quality work with limited oversight. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience. Workday integration certification is preferred. Experience with Workday HCM and Financials implementations is preferred. Experience supporting higher education ERP implementations is a plus. Experience with PeopleSoft-to-Workday transformations is highly valued. Benefits: $180,000–$195,000 USD base salary, commensurate with experience, education, and skills.
