Full job description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Workday Learning Configuration & Support Consultant based in India. This role supports Workday Learning in a post-go-live environment, with a strong focus on configuration, testing, data management, and production support. You will help stabilize the platform following a major LMS transition and provide technical expertise on complex Learning issues. The position involves hands-on configuration across security, business processes, campaigns, courses, and programs. You will also build, test, and execute Learning-specific EIBs and validate changes across lower and production environments. Working closely with internal support teams and external implementation partners, you will investigate root causes and deliver sustainable solutions. The role offers an opportunity to shape support processes, strengthen platform stability, and transfer Workday Learning expertise to an internal team. This is a fully remote contract position, requiring 40 hours per week from October 12, 2026 through April 12, 2027.
Configure and maintain Workday Learning components, including security groups, business processes, campaigns, courses, and programs. Build, test, and execute Learning-specific EIBs covering courses, enrollments, completions, content, and related data. Test configuration changes and EIB loads in lower environments before coordinating production deployment. Analyze Workday Learning business logic, configuration, and security rules to troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues. Investigate root causes and implement sustainable fixes rather than simply routing or escalating support tickets. Assess how changes across other HCM areas may affect Learning, particularly organizational structures, security, and business processes. Provide post-go-live hypercare and stabilization support following the LMS transition. Document configurations, root causes, solutions, and troubleshooting procedures to build a reliable knowledge base. Collaborate with implementation and migration partners to translate project designs into sustainable internal support processes. Provide knowledge transfer, guidance, and training to the internal Workday production support team. Requirements Hands-on experience configuring Workday Learning , ideally gained across multiple implementations or complex environments. Strong practical experience with Workday EIBs , particularly Learning-related data objects and integrations. Experience testing configuration and data changes across development, test, and production environments. Ability to independently analyze Workday business processes, security configurations, and system behavior. Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and resolving complex Workday Learning issues through root-cause analysis. Comfortable collaborating directly with implementation or migration vendors and internal production support teams. Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while coordinating effectively with multiple stakeholders. Workday Learning certification is a plus. Experience providing Workday Learning post-migration hypercare is advantageous. Familiarity with SumTotal LMS and/or SuccessFactors LMS is a plus. Understanding of cross-module HCM impacts on Workday Learning, especially security, organizational structures, and business processes, is desirable. This position is focused on Workday Learning configuration, EIBs, testing, analysis, troubleshooting, and post-go-live support rather than executing the LMS migration itself. Benefits Fully remote working arrangement. Contract engagement from October 12, 2026 to April 12, 2027 . Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week . Compensation of ₹700–₹1,200 per hour , depending on experience and fit. Opportunity to work on a significant post-go-live Workday Learning stabilization initiative. Exposure to complex Workday configuration, EIBs, security, business processes, and cross-module dependencies.
