The Zimbabwe Gender Commission is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the vacant position of Legal Officer based in Mutare.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

The Legal Officer will be responsible for:

• Providing legal advice to the Commission.

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and other legal documents.

• Advising on legislation, regulations and Constitutional provisions.

• Conducting legal research on gender-related issues.

• Identifying legal gaps for law reform.

• Managing legal and court processes.

• Implementing legal awareness programmes.

Education

• LLB Hons (Bachelor of Laws) or equivalent qualification.

Experience

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience.
