As a Field Process Engineer at ASM, you’ll work directly with customers to optimize thin-film deposition processes that power the future of semiconductor technology. You’ll be part of a collaborative team driving performance, precision, and customer satisfaction. What you will be working on Conduct process engineering research, development, and evaluation to support ASM’s business goals. Provide technical guidance during tool installs, repairs, operations, and calibration. Develop and refine process recipes, collaborating with hardware engineering to meet customer performance targets. Analyze complex data to define problems, develop solutions, and deliver actionable recommendations. Partner with customers to optimize tool performance and meet integration requirements. Create and present technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and customer audiences. What we are looking for Ph.D. in Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or Physics. 2+ years of relevant experience for Master’s degree holders. Strong customer-focused mindset and communication skills in Korean and English. Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with appropriate safety equipment. Proficiency in MS Office tools. Deep understanding of semiconductor process flows, especially ALD, PEALD, EPI, CVD, PECVD. Knowledge of thin-film deposition technologies.
