Position Summary: The main focus of this role is sales and business development focused on the Life Sciences industry and requires a person with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a proactive attitude in outbound sales. Key position responsibilities: Develop prospective clients through several strategies including internet sourcing, trade show lists, referrals, various professional directories and personal investigation Foster and close new clients through referrals, cold calling, networking, and other means (trade shows, regional organisations, etc.) Responsible for growing new business from existing clients, including working closely with senior leadership to expand current relationships and up-sell the TransPerfect portfolio Creatively problem solve to improve current new business development strategy Negotiate rates and deadlines with prospective and current clients Educate prospective and existing clients regarding the translation process, including TransPerfect’s rates, justification for turnaround time, and competitors’ information Liaise with production to ensure that all jobs are handled appropriately and with keen attention to detail, resulting in a perfect product Consistently follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction with delivery, quality and customer service Understand all industries that TransPerfect markets to including industry leaders, current events and any other pertinent data Perform other special projects or duties when required Essential skills required: Commit to a high level of integrity and service Superior written and spoken communication skills in Italian & English Deliver quality work Service focused with a desire to exceed clients’ expectations Owning your performance and taking responsibility Multitask and work with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment Commit to always treating everyone (from clients to co-workers to vendors to business partners) with the ultimate level of respect Work well in a team with people from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures Build and maintain strategic relationships with clients and co-workers Celebrate diversity and embrace new ideas and differing perspectives Be financially responsible and make sound financial decisions Take active measures to achieve results and solve problems Experience required: Problem solving mindset Strong interpersonal skills with prior experience in a client facing role Strong written and spoken communication skills Good analytical skills with attention to detail Most importantly, the ideal candidate must demonstrate ability to: multitask in a fast-paced environment, work well with people from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures, build strategic relationships with clients and co-workers, work as part of a team, take active measures to solve problems and commit to a high level of service By applying, I confirm I have read and accept TransPerfect's Privacy Policy: https://www.transperfect.com/about/data-privacy-recruiting Find Jobs in France on Arbeitnow
