Hi, I'm Patrick - hx's Director of Partnerships and Strategic Development. I joined hx just over a year ago after over 9 years in the insurtech industry. A year in, I am glad to share that the partnerships vertical has cemented itself as one of the strategic pillars that is now foundational to hx's continued growth and success. As we continue our penetration into the North American market, we are now at a point where we need to bring on a Strategic Partnerships Manager based in our NYC office to own key partner relationships, primarily in the consulting/SI space, as well as proactively source our next set of needle-moving strategic relationships to fuel revenue growth. The global team you'd be joining is innovative, efficient, curious and impactful (+ quick-witted). We explore potential partnership growth initiatives with a strict focus and ROI in mind. ABOUT THE PARTNERSHIPS TEAM Our partners include global consultancies and systems integrators across the Big Four, MBB and specialist firms, alongside leading technology and data providers. These relationships help us enter new accounts, support complex customer transformations and build confidence in the wider hx ecosystem. When they work well, partnerships become a force multiplier across our entire commercial organisation. The team is still relatively young and operates with a broad remit. We work closely with Sales, Solutions, Marketing, Customer Success, Delivery and Product across joint go-to-market planning, business development, partner enablement and commercial relationships. As Strategic Partnerships Manager, you’ll own a portfolio of key North American relationships while identifying and developing new opportunities. You’ll be accountable for turning those relationships into measurable outcomes, including partner-influenced pipeline, joint opportunities, stronger delivery capability and long-term strategic value. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Own and grow strategic relationships with consulting firms, systems integrators, technology companies and data partners across North America.
• Build joint business plans covering account mapping, pipeline generation, enablement, marketing activity and shared commercial goals.
• Identify and develop new partners that can expand hx’s reach within the insurance market.
• Work with Sales teams to identify co-selling opportunities, coordinate account activity and generate partner-led pipeline.
• Collaborate with Marketing on joint campaigns, events, content and market-facing initiatives.
• Partner with Solutions, Customer Success and Delivery to ensure partners are equipped to support hx customers effectively.
• Develop repeatable partner enablement, training, accreditation and certification programmes.
• Use AI and automation to improve the efficiency and quality of partner research, planning, reporting and engagement. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE DONE
• Built and grown strategic partnerships within SaaS, AI, technology, consulting or a similarly complex industry.
• Managed senior relationships across consultancies, systems integrators, technology providers or other strategic partners.
• Created joint go-to-market plans and co-selling initiatives that delivered measurable pipeline or revenue.
• Navigated complex commercial discussions, proposals, contracts and partnership agreements.
• Worked cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Delivery, Product and Solutions teams to deliver shared outcomes.
• Used data, commercial tools and AI to prioritise opportunities, improve partner performance and operate effectively in a fast-moving environment. YOU’RE UNLIKELY TO THRIVE HERE IF

COMPENSATION Salary Range: $157,500 - $175,000 Bonus/Variable: $47,250 - $52,250 The posted range represents the typical compensation range for this role. To determine actual compensation we review the market rate of each candidate which can include a variety of factors including qualifications, experience etc. Equity: We offer equity across all roles at hx, making it a significant component of total compensation.
