The Role

Location: Melbourne

We have found a great balance of embracing flexible working whilst also maintaining in-office collaboration with most teams meeting in the office 3 days per week.

• Lead and Inspire: You’ll directly manage, coach, and empower a brilliant, growing team of Experience specialists (SEO, GEO, analytics), fostering a highly collaborative and supportive culture.

• Client Champion: Act as the day-to-day strategic lead for key accounts, building deeply trusted relationships and ensuring our delivery consistently smashes client KPIs.

• Operational Excellence: Drive the high-quality delivery of our Experience products across WPP Media agencies, refining workflows and scaling our frameworks for success.

• Commercial Growth: Play a crucial part in the business by supporting pitch responses, spotting fresh growth opportunities within existing portfolios, and keeping projects profitable.

• Tech & Innovation: Stay ahead of the curve by playing with the latest tech, from cutting-edge LLMs to smart SEO automation, to keep our strategies sharp and impactful.

Ideal Skills and Experience

This role is perfect for a strategic, tech-savvy leader who loves mentoring a team just as much as they love diving into SEO analytics and driving brilliant commercial outcomes for top-tier clients. We’re also looking for;

• SEO & GEO Mastery: Deep, hands-on expertise across SEO, GEO, analytics, and reporting, with a proven ability to translate complex data into brilliant, actionable strategies.

• Leadership Chops: Demonstrated experience in managing, mentoring, and developing mid-level and junior staff, helping them build their craft capability.

• Client-Facing Brilliance: Stellar communication and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of driving continuous improvement in client satisfaction.

• Commercial Acumen: Solid experience in monitoring project profitability, managing team resourcing, and assisting with scoping and new business pitches.

• Tech-Agility: A tool-agnostic, adaptable mindset with the ability to confidently navigate diverse platforms, search engines, and market research tools.

At Mindshare ANZ, we offer a competitive salary package, with 20 days holiday increasing with service to a maximum of 25 days, with the option to purchase extra leave of up to 4 weeks per year.
