About the Role

This is the founding sales hire at an early-stage B2B SaaS company building an agentic operating system for industrial energy management, covering forecasting, procurement, and flexibility monetization in one platform. You will inherit a live product already deployed at industrial scale, a validated ideal customer profile, and a warm referral pipeline, then own the full commercial motion from outbound to close and expansion.

What You'll Do

• Close new logos across DACH industrials, from large Mittelstand groups to listed Tier-1 enterprises with multi-site energy portfolios.

• Own the complete sales cycle: outbound, discovery, demo, quantified business case, pilot scoping, procurement review, security review, and contract close.

• Navigate complex buying committees spanning energy procurement, plant management, finance, IT, and executive stakeholders.

• Build your own pipeline through targeted outreach across email, LinkedIn, phone, events, and partner channels.

• Expand won accounts through cross-sells, additional sites, and converting customers into reference advocates.

• Feed deal signal, pricing learnings, and ICP observations directly back to the founders and product team.

What We're Looking For

• 3 or more years in B2B sales, with at least 2 years of genuine full-cycle closing responsibility.

• Track record of independently closing enterprise or upper-mid-market deals at an ACV of roughly €50k to €200k, or comparable commercial complexity.

• Experience selling AI or SaaS products to industrial or manufacturing buyers.

• Ability to self-generate outbound pipeline without relying on inbound or SDR support.

• Comfortable running pilot, proof-of-value, and land-and-expand motions to close deals.

• Builds repeatable sales infrastructure while selling: CRM hygiene, account planning, qualification standards, and documented playbooks.

• Early-stage or startup experience, having performed without established enablement or sales infrastructure.

• Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken.

• Background in energy, industrial, or climate-tech sales is a strong plus.

• Existing network in the DACH industrial or energy sector is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: €100,000 to €140,000 per year. Equity participation as a founding hire. No visa sponsorship details were provided.
