Salary up to £65,000 DOE | Welcome Bonus up to £5,000 | Relocation Allowance up to £5,000 Abbey Vet Clinic is looking for an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly, supportive, and forward-thinking team in Arbroath. You will enjoy a varied and rewarding first opinion caseload, with genuine clinical freedom to work cases to a high standard. The work includes a broad mix of routine and more complex medical and surgical cases such as pyometras, lump removals, GI foreign bodies, and dentistry. The practice also works closely with Cats Protection, running a dedicated cat clinic that adds further variety to the caseload. How You’ll Make a Difference As a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon, you will contribute to delivering high-quality patient and client care across a varied caseload. *Deliver consultations, diagnostics, medical and surgical treatment *Manage routine and complex first opinion cases *Perform procedures including soft tissue surgery and dentistry *Work collaboratively with a supportive veterinary and nursing team *Contribute to clinical standards and ongoing practice development *Participate in a shared Saturday morning rota *No out-of-hours requirement Working Pattern: *Full-time: 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days (flexible) *Flexible and part-time working options available *Saturday morning rota shared fairly across the team *No OOH commitment Life in Arbroath & Dundee Located on the beautiful Angus coastline, Arbroath offers a fantastic coastal lifestyle with beaches, cliff walks, and a strong community feel.
