We are seeking an organised, personable Receptionist to join our team at Wards Vets on a part-time permanent role.

Wards Vets are a RCVS accredited small animal practice based in Elgin, Moray close to beaches, mountains and fantastic dog walking areas. We have been a Veterinary Nurse Training Practice for many years, and we provide services for companion pets, such as cats, dogs, rabbits and other small furries.

Our practice hosts a wide range of equipment such as X-ray, Ultrasound, Dental X-ray machine and in-house lab equipment. We also pride ourselves in being a gold standard ISFM cat friendly practice.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, playing a key role in delivering a welcoming, professional and compassionate experience at every interaction.

You’ll support the smooth running of the practice by managing appointments, handling enquiries, supporting client communications and working closely with clinical and non-clinical colleagues to ensure a positive client and patient journey.

Working Pattern

*Hours - Monday to Friday 1.30pm - 6.30pm with the occasional Saturday morning

Key Responsibilities

*Greeting clients and their pets with a friendly, professional manner. *Answering telephone calls and responding to enquiries. *Booking and managing appointments. *Processing payments and maintaining accurate records. *Supporting the veterinary team with general administrative duties. *Keeping the reception area clean, organised and welcoming.
