Taverham Veterinary Hospital is entering an exciting phase of expansion, offering a fantastic opportunity to join a large, forward-thinking hospital team. Alongside our main hospital, we also operate branch practices at Longwater Lane and Bure Valley, providing a blend of advanced clinical care and strong client continuity. Our hospital is equipped with excellent facilities including a CT scanner, dental suite, four operating theatres, dedicated cat and dog wards, and isolation facilities. We also offer hydrotherapy, physiotherapy and a veterinary-led cattery, creating a varied and progressive clinical environment.

How You’ll Make a Difference

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases', contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

*Support anaesthesia, surgery and diagnostic procedures *Deliver high-quality inpatient care and patient monitoring *Run nurse consultations and provide preventative healthcare advice *Assist with laboratory work and diagnostic processes *Work collaboratively across hospital and branch settings when required *Work a 4-day week, totalling 38.5 hours, with a shared weekend rota and no out-of-hours commitments You Might Be a Great Fit If...

We’re looking for a confident and motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse who enjoys working as part of a team and delivering high standards of care. You’ll bring:

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS
• Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively
• A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement
