Opportunities in North Korea

The 2026 study tour runs from 9 to 16 October and is part of a Russia–DPRK student-group exchange programme operating since 2024. The programme includes youth-policy and cultural exchange activities. The stated USD 1,000 participation cost includes visa processing, Vladivostok–Pyongyang–Vladivostok airfare, double accommodation, three meals per day, sightseeing and the cultural programme; travel between a participant's home city and Vladivostok is separate.

Individual applicants must be 18–35 and may include representatives of youth or student organizations, students, postgraduates, young professionals interested in international relations, higher-education youth workers, youth leaders, public activists and managers of international youth projects interested in Russia–Korea cooperation. Higher-education institutions may also apply with delegations of five students plus one accompanying person. Participants need a foreign passport valid for at least three months after the trip.
