The university allocates 20 seats annually as full scholarships for international students across its undergraduate programmes. The scholarship covers full tuition for the duration of the academic programme and pays an OMR 80 monthly allowance. Recipients are responsible for a one-time OMR 210 registration fee and for airfare, visa fees, books, accommodation and meals. Applications must be submitted directly by the candidate; agency or third-party submissions are not accepted.

Citizens of any country may apply, with applicants from developing countries particularly encouraged. Candidates should hold a General Education Diploma or equivalent with at least 70%, satisfy programme admission requirements and be medically fit. Non-native English speakers need IELTS above band 5 to be exempt from the foundation year. Recipients must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.7 to retain the scholarship.
