Senior Software Engineer, Applications

AcuityMD is a software and data platform that accelerates access to medical technologies. We help MedTech companies understand how their products are used, why customers vary, and identify opportunities for physicians to better serve their patients. We are currently looking for Software Engineers to join our growing Application Teams. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on all aspects of the current product and future product development. Join AcuityMD's Application Engineering Team, driving the core of our product by empowering VPs, marketers, sales ops, and sales reps. We deliver top-tier solutions for MedTech sales teams to define their markets and identify high-potential opportunities to take their business to the next level. You'll partner with PMs, Designers, and fellow engineers to build end-to-end features across web and mobile. Level up your career while contributing to impactful projects across multiple tech stacks, including JS, React, TS, GraphQL, Node.js, Python, and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and Lead: Team up with everyone, from customers, engineers, product managers, designers and more, shaping solutions to interesting real-world challenges.

• Build What Matters: Develop key features and workflows for our products that will change the lives of patients waiting for the latest medical tech.

• Data-Driven: Use data insights to identify product enhancements, smooth out performance issues, and discover new opportunities.

• Influence Our Culture: Have a say in how we work. Help us streamline our processes and make our team even stronger.

• Explore and Innovate: Use your experience to find new tools and technologies that make our scale better and faster.

• Mentor and Inspire: Share your knowledge with up-and-coming engineers, helping them grow

• AI: You instinctively build using agentic tools (Claude Code, Codex, etc) and are invested in pushing the boundaries of what is possible with agentic development

Your Profile

• 5+ years as Software engineer working on product domain

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. We believe great talent comes from many paths. We consider a combination of education, training and relevant professional experience when evaluating candidates.

• Obsessed about customer needs working in a fast pace environment where driving impact is essential.

• Full stack proficiency working with technologies like TS, React, NodeJs, GQL, Postgres or other relational DBs, BigQuery and other google cloud services, or equivalent technologies

• Curious mind and enjoy learning about and working with latest technologies

• Team player that leads with empathy and leads by example

AcuityMD is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, market data and may vary from the range provided.

Salary Range: 155k-215k for Senior Software Engineer 1, 175k-250k for Senior Software Engineer 2

The Product:

AcuityMD uses data and software to help teams collaborate around the complex relationships they have with the users of medical technologies: doctors. Our platform empowers medical technology companies to see how their products are used, understand why outcomes vary, and identify opportunities where physicians or sites of care can better serve their patients.

AcuityMD is a remote-first company. We believe the best talent isn't confined to one zip code, so our team works from wherever they do their best work, across the U.S.

We also believe some of our best work happens face-to-face. Critical projects move faster, our products get better, and our community gets stronger when we're in the same room, so we bring the team together throughout the year for company-wide and team on-sites built around that work.

In practice: expect 4-5 in-person opportunities a year through company/team on-sites and in-person collaboration for critical projects. If you're based near our Boston hub, there's no set requirement for how often you come into the office, that's your call, based on what works best for you and your team.
