SFI's Complexity Postdoctoral Fellowships support early-career researchers working across disciplinary boundaries on complex systems. Fellows can receive up to three years in Santa Fe, discretionary research and collaboration funds, a competitive salary, benefits, paid family leave and structured leadership training. A PhD in any scientific discipline must have been granted within six years of the application deadline, or be expected by September 2027. U.S. citizenship is not required; successful candidates must be legally able to work in the United States. SFI can sponsor J-1 status but not H-1B status.
