The IDP Enablement Lead is the bridge between marketing strategy and the sales, specialist, and partner teams who take it to customers — equipping thousands of customer-facing Amazonians across nine solution areas with the content, playbooks, and context they need to win. The AWS Marketing Integrated Demand Center (IDC) runs the Integrated Demand Plans (IDPs) — the connected, full-funnel plans that translate AWS marketing strategy into coordinated field and partner execution across nine solution areas (AI, Connect, Data & Analytics, Developer, European Sovereign Cloud, ISV, Migration & Modernization, Quick, and Startup). The IDP Enablement team exists to connect marketing strategy to field success: equipping the field, partner, and specialist teams who take the IDPs to customers, and building the rhythm of business that keeps the whole system aligned.

We are looking for an IDP Enablement Lead to own how the IDPs are enabled, adopted, and understood across AWS Marketing and the field. This is an individual contributor role spanning three connected pillars: enablement content and assets, field and partner activation, and operational cadence and governance. You will own the enablement engine that keeps stakeholders current on what each IDP is doing, build the playbooks and templates that let programs execute at scale, and run the cadences that keep IDP v-teams, field marketing, and specialist teams pointed in the same direction.

The ideal candidate is a structured problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity, can build operational rigor from scratch, and drives alignment across multiple stakeholder groups without direct authority. They bring strong communication skills, a bias for action, and the ability to influence cross-functional partners in a fast-paced, matrix environment — turning complex, multi-team plans into clear, usable enablement that the field can act on. This role is equally suited for candidates from sales, specialist, or field backgrounds who understand what it takes to enable customer facing teams, as it is for candidates with traditional marketing experience.

Key job responsibilities Enablement content & assets

• Own the IDP enablement library — playbooks, templates, onboarding materials, and the team wiki — keeping it current, accurate, and aligned to the latest IDP strategy and launches.
• Own and produce the recurring IDP newsletter and stakeholder communications, leading with outcomes and pairing every update with clear business rationale.
• Build reusable frameworks, templates, and shared resources that let IDP programs execute consistently at scale. Field & partner activation
• Serve as the single-threaded enablement partner between IDP v-teams and field, specialist, and partner teams (WWSO, PMM, AFX / WWFE, Channels, partner marketing).
• Translate IDP strategy and program plans into field-ready enablement, and drive adoption across marketing and field stakeholders.
• Gather field and stakeholder needs and feed them back into IDP planning, closing the loop between strategy and execution. Operational cadence and governance
• Own the enablement operational rhythm — planning cadences, review forums, and governance frameworks — in partnership with central and IDP teams.
• Define and maintain governance standards so IDP enablement is consistent across all nine plans.
• Track enablement adoption and impact, and surface risks, opportunities, and insights to leadership through regular reporting cadences.
• Drive automation and AI-enabled improvements to enablement and reporting workflows to improve efficiency and scale.

A day in the life The IDP Enablement Lead operates with significant autonomy across high-visibility, cross-functional work. You work with guidance from senior leaders on the most strategic decisions, demonstrate strong execution and emerging strategic thinking, and contribute to initiatives that improve how the entire IDP system is enabled and adopted. On any given day you might refine a field-ready playbook with an IDP v-team, run an enablement review with specialist and field stakeholders, publish the monthly IDP newsletter, and pull together an adoption read-out for IDC leadership.

About the team The IDP Enablement team sits within the AWS Marketing Integrated Demand Center. Our mission is to connect marketing strategy to field success — making the IDPs usable, adopted, and understood by the teams who take AWS to customers. We work across all nine IDPs and partner closely with Strategy & Operations, Content Strategy, the Channels team, SCPM leadership and geo teams, and partner teams worldwide.

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
• Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
• Experience producing marketing promotional material for Owned & Operated channels

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
• Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
• Experience building launch readiness frameworks, standard work, playbooks, and scalable deployment mechanisms across multiple concurrent sites, or experience in similar environments
• Experience in technology-related sales, marketing or business development
• Experience in stakeholder and communication management
• Experience building operational frameworks from scratch in a fast-paced or ambiguous environment
• Experience leveraging AI tools and automation to improve marketing and enablement workflows

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
