Travel Cardiology Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant Location: Waterford, CT Schedule: Full-Time (5 days per week) Total Annual Compensation: $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 About Infinite Medical P.C. Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Travel Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant with experience in Cardiology to provide on-site care to residents in long-term care settings.  This is a full-time position ideal for a provider who values meaningful patient relationships and a collaborative care environment. As a Cardiology Travel Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with heart-related conditions. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.  Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests  Collaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions  Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as necessary  Conduct cardiac stress tests, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and other diagnostic procedures  Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, preventive measures, and the importance of medication adherence Travel regularly to multiple nursing homes within the designated region to deliver on-site care Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate facility visits and optimize patient coverage Requirements Nurse Practitioner License DEA License 6 months of experience in long-term care  Reliable transportation Must be willing to travel to different nursing homes within the state of Connecticut (100% commitment) Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day Benefits Competitive salary: $150,000 - $200,000 Health Dental Vision 401K Company-Sponsored Life Insurance Paid Time Off Malpractice insurance coverage Mile Reimbursement  Paid subscription to UpToDate Why Work With Us?
